Welcome to "Attempting Fatherhood," the podcast for all those dads out there just trying their best.

Join Emmy-Award winning host Bradley Hasemeyer as he chats with dads from various backgrounds who have experienced great success in their careers. BUT as everyone knows, resumes don’t matter when it comes to changing diapers or dealing with a headstrong teenager.

This is the place where dads cut through the chit-chat about work and lawn care and get into the nitty gritty of #DadLife, being honest, vulnerable and ultimately leaving listeners encouraged and entertained.

Each episode will cover a range of topics like how to define fatherhood, wrestling with work/life balance, lessons learned from their fathers; some of which they will keep and some of which they will change, confessing #dadfails and celebrating the little wins and of course, figuring out why it seems like no one in the house listens to them.

So if you are a dad...or have a dad...this is the podcast for you. We're not here to teach. We're here to learn and we'd love you to join in that as well because ultimately we are all Attempting Fatherhood.

Bradley Hasemeyer’s fatherhood journey began in 2013 when his daughter was born and he went from test-driving super cars to test-driving strollers. Everything had changed. He’s now a proud dad to a 25-year old foster daughter, 8-year old biological daughter and 1-year old son through adoption.

As a host for more than 10 years, he’s interviewed hundreds of people ranging from Elon Musk to Bob Saget and hosted a daily pop-culture news show for Scripps, live game shows for Progressive and Chevron, and traveled the world with Translogic covering tech and automotive.

Combing his love for automotive and social media, he currently works with Acura and Honda to host live streams, digital content and their podcast, Honda Stories.

He loves being a dad and loves being a host, hence the perfect intersection of Attempting Fatherhood.

He would tell you all this himself but he’s currently cooking and just had to turn off the oven mid-cycle to help his wife change a nasty diaper and have a quick talk with his 2nd-grader about expressing emotions.
